BIOGRAPHY
REECE~ Freeman Alexander Reece passed away peacefully in the Pine Island Lodge in Maidstone, Saskatchewan on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at the age of 82 years.
Freeman will be sadly missed by his four children: Greg Reece of Saskatoon, Carol Reece of Lashburn, Mike and Jennifer Reece of Lashburn, Wendy Reece-Knorr and Lee Knorr of Lashburn; four grandchildren: Kirstin, Karrigan, Michelle, Mykaila; Special Friend: Masardy Wiltermuth; Sister: Olive and Bill Brandenburg of St. Albert; Sister-in-law: Berit Reece of Lloydminster as well as numerous other relatives.
The funeral service for Freeman was conducted from the Lashburn Community Hall, Lashburn Saskatchewan on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Lorna Brick officiating.
A eulogy was given by Murray Coolidge.
The hymns sung were � How Great Thou Art�, �God Be With You Until We Meet Again� accompanied on the organ by Jo Klassen.
The active pallbearers were Rocky Underhill, Neil Reece, Don Hollman, Mike Koshman, Doug Reece and Jamie Tom.
Interment was held at the Lashburn Cemetery.
McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements.
CARD OF THANKS
The Reece family would like to thank the doctors and the home care nurses who cared for Freeman over the years. We would like to thank Reverend Lorna Brick for the beautiful service she conducted and Jo Klassen for her beautiful gift of music. Thank you to Murray Coolidge for reading the eulogy and all the pallbearers for being part of the service. We would like to thank the Burke School District and the ladies for preparing the luncheon and bringing food to the house. A very special thank you goes out to all who sent cards, food, flowers, phone calls, made donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Lashburn Sportsplex and to the Canadian Cancer Society. It has all been very much appreciated.
